These beautifully imperfect healthier chocolates are a treat. These will melt pretty fast so serve immediately, straight out of the freezer.
COMBINE:
3 generous tbsp coconut oil
2 tbsps of nut butter (almond or peanut)
1 tbsp of honey or maple syrup
dash of vanilla
Melt these gently in a post on the stove top at a low heat.
Add 2-3 tbsp cacao or cocoa powder and a handful of desiccated coconut. Stir and pour into moulds or mini muffin trays.
Freeze.
OPTIONAL EXTRAS: dried fruit such as cranberries, apricots or figs. Chopped nuts or seeds - almonds, hazelnnuts and pumpkin seeds go well.
